Title of goods
Goods supplied by The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone remain the property of The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone until payment has been received in full.
Many of the goods we sell and supply are reclaimed or salvaged and as such are individual items.
It is important that you satisfy yourself that the condition, quality and function of the goods is suitable for the purpose and use required. If you are not sure then you must advise The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone of this at the time of purchase and before delivery takes place.
Items which have been discounted, are on offer or are special offers will not be considered for return. Likewise any materials which are a special order, such as stone cut to size or materials sorted to particular sizes will not be considered for return.
For other items you have 7 days during which time you may return the goods for a refund less a deduction for restocking of 25%. After that, any returns will be at the discretion of The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone and should The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone accept the returns then a restocking charge of 25% will be deducted from the refund which will be the invoice price of the goods excluding any carriage costs.
Items will only be considered for return if in the same condition, quality and quantity as first delivered.
Items will not be considered for return if they have been installed, used or altered in any way, shape or form.
The cost of returning items is for the client's account.
No returns will be accepted after 7 days.
The costs of returning goods will be at the buyer's expense.
Receipt and Inspection
Goods despatched by The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone using a carrier, courier, post office or any other means must be inspected for damage on delivery and any damage or shortage should be notified immediately to The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone’s office by phone, confirmed letter, email or fax. The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone will not be responsible for damage reported after that period.
Carrier's delivery notes should be marked if damage to the packaging is obvious or if there is a short delivery in the number of packages. A copy of that note should be sent to us immediately.
All dimensions, areas, volumes or weights given are approximate. Dimensions used will be imperial or metric at The Stonewood Co. / Original Yorkstone’s discretion.
